What does IPL stand for?

How does IPL permanent Hair Reduction Work?
The light gets attracted to the melanin in the root of the hair. This creates heat that causes the destruction of the hair follicle.
How many sessions will I need to have?
We recommend a course of 6 - 8 treatments. These should be taken between every 4-6 weeks.
Why do I need 6 - 8 sessions?
There are four stages of the hair growth cycle anagen, catagen, telogen and oxogen. We need to perform a course of treatments to ensure we are able to catch the hair in the anagen (growing phase) as this is when it is attached to the blood supply. This enables us to destroy the hair in the follicle.
Can I shave in-between treatments?
You can shave in between treatments however you must not wax or pluck the hair as will disturb the root of hair.
